Even though it is a school teaching an English curriculum, the school is committed to its Islamic heritage while welcoming families of all faiths and backgrounds. The school continues offering an innovative approach to the curriculum that integrates technology, promotes creativity, encourages artistic expression and actively engages students in exploration and inquiry. While offering an academically challenging curriculum, we respect that the goal of education is to nurture children to become curious learners for life.
As a school promoting the teaching of Islamic values, New Yundum Academy has been engaged in Qur’anic recitation competitions, which are held on a termly basis through the Islamic club. Young Qur’anic scholars from different schools sometimes converged at New Yundum Academy to compete in Qur’anic recitation.
The school also participate in several other inter-senior school competitions. Recently, the school competed in the annual inter-senior school football competition. The school is also envisaging participating in the inter-senior school athletic competition. The arts, science and commerce clubs also participate in several external school competitions where they always keep the good values of the school.
Every year, New Yundum Academy Senior Secondary School organizes a speech and prize-giving ceremony. This is an event that provides an avenue for the school to present its achievement to the parents of the students. The best students with outstanding achievements are rewarded with prizes. These events motivate other students to work harder thereby creating great competition among students in all fields.

We offer training in a variety of sports, and our school hosts an annual Interhouse Sports Day. These activities help children develop social skills and lay the foundation for building positive relationships in life. Through sports, they gain valuable lessons in leadership, teamwork, and communication, while also embracing new challenges and connecting with new people.
